The following educational institutions and qualifications assessment services are NOT recognized by Qualification Board

1.World Education Service (WES) Canada 

   www.wes.org

Although WES offers the international qualifications evaluation service, actually it only looks at UNESCO List of Educational Institutions.

If the institution is listed in UNESCO List of Educational Institutions.

WES evaluates the qualification and award, if not, it refuses to evaluate it.

UNESCO List of Educational Institutions only contains the Government Institutions. It does not contain many legitimate and  genuine private institutions of good educational quality and reputations.

The legitimacy of qualification and genuine education task which is not degree mills consists of the following aspects

a.    Full information on curriculums, courses, syllabuses, graduate profile, course objectives, assessment system and teaching and learning resources.

b.    Institutional membership of International Professional Associations registered with Governments

c.     Business or Association Registration with the Governments

d.    Accreditation by Professional Associations registered with the Governments.

WES does not ask the applicants to submit such information to submit to accurately and professionally assess and evaluate the submitted educational award.

It just looks at UNESCO List of Educational Institutions and it does not find the institution is listed in it, it refuses to evaluate it.

Although WES is promoting its business of educational evaluation related migration to Canada, they lack the professional capability of researching, assessing, evaluating and judging the educational award accurately and independently.

It is just following and referring UNESCO List of Educational Institutions to operate its business.

As the assessors of WES lack crucial aspects of professional judgement capability, WES is not recognized by Qualification Board.

 

2.Fiji National University

Fiji National University has long record of blocking the career development and right of studies of its own staff. Only some staff whom are liked by the management were given the preference for scholarship.

 

When the staff themselves pursue their own studies and degrees, the FNU Council and its academic board sacked them.(Sacking of several lecturers in 2020 with reason of submitting the fake degrees although the staff pursued the genuine studies from the private institution which is not listed in UNESCO List of Educational Institutions.

 

For this reason, Fiji National University is classified as Discriminative and Depressive Institution and it is not recognized by Qualification Board.

 

3.TAFE-NSW Electrical Trades Sydney Region

 

TAFE-NSW Electrical Trades Sydney Region has applied the unprofessional discriminative actions against electrical engineering teachers.

The reason is based on dislike of engineers by electrical tradesmen in Australia.

Most electrical engineering teachers in engineering sections are from NESB backgrounds. Although TAFE-NSW is claiming too much on EEO principle, what they have done practically is discriminations.

 

They have stopped and shut down electrical engineering sections by having applied several methods such as non advertisement of engineering courses to reduce the students intake, not approving the units to be offered etc.

 

Associate Degree in Applied Engineering which is part of Higher Education is administered by Electrical Trades in which all head teachers possess only trade certificates back up by education degrees. But due to occupational knowledge only at tradesman level, they have no skills to administer the electrical engineering profession at the level higher than trades level.

 

They can only do the basic electrical trades thing.

 

For this reason, intensive attempts to shut down engineering sections have been done by TAFE-NSW because most of its directors are also Non Engineers . Most of them are from the professions like as Beauty , Fashion design etc and then completed education or management degrees . Due to lack of their knowledge and skills in professional engineering, they do not understand the importance of professional engineering and how the consequence caused to Australian workforce.

 

For this reason, TAFE-NSW Electrical Trades Sydney Region is not recognized by  Qualification Board.

 

4.Interim University Committees under Ministry of Education of National Unity Government of Myanmar

 

When National Unity Government of Myanmar and Ministry of Education are established, several interim university committees were formed.

 

Although one year has been passed, the students are being asked to continue CDM (Civil Disobedient Movement) , no single degree program has been successfully administered by those interim university committees.

 

This has cause the division of the students that some have given up the CDM and return to the classes at the universities under the control of military junta and some continue the CDM by attending the short courses offered by Ministry of Education of National Unity Government.

 

Short courses can only give the supporting knowledge but can not resolve the major issues on alternative education that enable the CDM students to complete their studies and degrees.

 

It is an evidence of the lack of professional knowledge and skills of

those interim university committees of Ministry of Education of National Unity Government of Myanmar.

 

Those interim university committees not only lack the skills to administer alternative education that enable the CDM students to complete their studies and degrees but also oppose the action of the other education organizations to take their tasks because their reasons to take part in Interim University Committees is to hold the positions and seats not to provide the education at sufficient level to CDM students to enter the workforce .

 

For this reason, Interim University Committees of Ministry of Education of National Unity Government of Myanmar is not recognized by  Qualification Board.
